My First Experience of Reiki

I was fortunate enough to start my bank holiday weekend with a lava shell massage. I was welcomed by Emms into this gorgeous ‘faerie-esque’ house that made a beautiful treatment space. To start the massage, she placed her extremely warm hands on my back and then on the soles of my feet. I felt these huge waves of deep relaxation flow over me, it was so weird but so good. I felt super chilled and totally grounded and floated into the weekend. This was also probably helped by the lush lava shell massage, the heat of which was incredibly soothing and melted my shoulders back down away from my ears! I’ve never had an energy work before but this was cool stuff and I will definitely be going again.
